Dahanu-Bordi Beach is located in Thane district of Maharashtra.

It accessible from Mumbai by rail and road. It is 145 km away from Mumbai. The nearest railhead is Dahanu road. It takes around three hours to reach Dahanu-Bordi from Mumbai.

The coastline of Dahanu-Bordi is around 17 km. It is small and quiet village side beach.
The main place of visit is Udwada – commonly known as the Mecca of Zoroastrians. This temple houses the sacred fire of the Zoroastrians and this fire has been kept alive and burning for more than thousands of years.
Dahanu-Bordi, with a beautiful seaside is situated in Thane district. The unique feature of Dahanu is the Chickoo fruit orchids spread over a large area.

The beach tourism is most popular tourism of Maharashtra. There so many big and small sea villages, that makes it extremely difficult for the people to decide where to go. Dahanu-Bordi is a seaside and beach resort.

The beach is safe and has no under currents. Bordi is famous for its boarding schools. Though, it can be visited at any time of the year, the summer is very hot and sensual.
